Pin Architerior to your Home Screen — a one-tap atelier in your pocket

Install Architerior AI as a standalone app on iPhone, Android, Mac, and Windows. No app store, no download — just a long-press, an icon, and a faster way back to your designs.

Architerior AI··4 min read

Most of the redesigns we see start the same way: someone is standing in their living room, phone in hand, thinking what if this wall were warmer? The faster the path from that thought to a render, the more often the magic happens.

So we made Architerior installable. Pin it to your Home Screen and the next reimagining is one tap away — no browser tabs, no bookmarks buried two folders deep, no typing a URL while balancing a coffee. The icon sits next to your camera; the camera and the canvas finally live on the same surface.

Here's how to install it on every device you own. Two minutes total.

What you actually get

Before the steps, the payoff. Once Architerior is on your Home Screen:

  • It opens like a native app — full-screen, no address bar, no browser chrome chewing the top of the canvas.
  • Long-press the icon to jump straight into Redesign a room or Upload a plan. Two of our most-used flows are wired into the icon's quick menu.
  • Your designs stay yours. Same account, same gallery, same private storage — installing doesn't move anything; it just gives you a faster door.
  • Splash screen is on-brand. That dark-amber loading frame when you tap the icon? That's the atelier opening, not a blank white flash.
  • Works offline-friendly. The shell loads even on a flaky signal; renders themselves still need a connection (the magic lives in the cloud), but you won't get a "no internet" error just opening the app.

No download. No app store review. No 200 MB on your phone. Just a shortcut with superpowers.

iPhone & iPad (Safari)

Apple's path is the most-asked-about and the most-buried — it's hidden one menu deeper than it should be.

  1. Open architeriorai.com in Safari. Has to be Safari, not Chrome — only Safari on iOS can install Home Screen apps.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the square with an upward arrow).
  3. Scroll down through the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Confirm the name (we suggest just Architerior) and tap Add.

Done. The icon appears on your last Home Screen page — drag it wherever you like. iOS 16.4 and newer also surface the long-press shortcuts; older iOS versions just open the app on tap.

Android (Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet)

Chromium browsers on Android make this almost automatic — most people see a banner the second time they visit.

  1. Open architeriorai.com in Chrome (or Edge, or Samsung Internet — anything Chromium-based works).
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen (the wording differs by browser).
  4. Confirm the name and tap Install.

Some devices skip the menu and pop a "Install Architerior?" banner near the bottom of the screen on your second visit. Either path lands you in the same place: an icon on your launcher with a real splash screen behind it.

Mac & Windows desktop (Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave)

The desktop install is the secret weapon. Most people don't realize their browser can pin web apps to the Dock or Taskbar — it's been there for two years and almost nobody uses it.

  1. Open architeriorai.com in Chrome, Edge, Arc, or Brave.
  2. Look for an install icon in the address bar — it's a small monitor-with-a-down-arrow on the right side of the URL.
  3. Click it. Confirm Install.

The app jumps into your Dock (Mac) or Taskbar (Windows). It opens in its own window with no tabs, no bookmarks, no extension icons — just the canvas. Cmd+Tab / Alt+Tab treats it like any other app.

If you're on Safari for Mac (Sonoma or newer), the path is File → Add to Dock instead. Firefox doesn't currently support installable web apps, so on Firefox the bookmark bar is your best option.

A few quirks worth knowing

A handful of small footnotes — none of them blockers, but easier if you hear them now than discover them at 11pm.

  • You only need to install once per device. Updates ship invisibly when you open the app; there's no "new version available" prompt because there's nothing to update — the latest atelier is whatever was deployed when you opened it.
  • Sign-in carries over. If you were signed in when you installed, you're still signed in. If not, sign in once inside the installed app and it'll remember on every device that shares your account.
  • Notifications are off by default. We don't ask for them on install, and we don't currently send any. If we ever add render-ready pings or pricing alerts, we'll ask explicitly first — no surprise badges.
  • Removing it is easy. Long-press the icon and tap Remove (mobile), or right-click in the Dock/Taskbar and Uninstall (desktop). Your account and designs stay intact — you're just removing the shortcut.

Why we built it this way

A lot of "install our app" prompts are dark patterns — a bigger surface to push notifications, harvest more data, or charge for a download. This isn't that. The installed Architerior is the same web app you already use; the install just removes the friction of finding it.

If the friction-removal works, you'll redesign rooms more often. The more rooms you redesign, the more we learn about what to build next. That's the whole exchange.

Try it now

If you're on the device where you usually scroll through inspiration photos, install Architerior there. That's the device where the what if moments happen, and the icon next to your camera is the shortest possible path between the thought and the render.

Haven't used it yet? Reimagine a room first — three free redesigns, no credit card. Then pin the icon and come back the next time you're standing somewhere and thinking what if.

Ready to conjure your own?

The first three room redesigns are free — no credit card, no catch.
